Murphy & Wall Beds PNW started the way many great businesses do—in a garage, fueled by coffee, sawdust, and a simple idea: What if we could help people fall in love with their space again?

The idea took shape when founders Mo & Jackson, brother-in-laws, realized they needed a better way to host out-of-town family without sacrificing their home office. After hunting endlessly for a functional, good-looking Murphy bed and finding only cookie-cutter options, Jackson—who was a wood working hobbiest — decided to trial murphy beds himself.

With Mo’s eye for design and Jackson’s hands in the shop, they created a wall bed that didn’t just save space—it added character. Friends and family loved it, and soon we spent our time building custom beds for others in the neighborhood.

They launched Murphy & Wall Beds PNW with a mission: to make space-smart furniture that reflects the beauty and creativity of the Pacific Northwest. They started small—just a handful of tools, a rented workspace in Portland, and a lot of heart. Today, they’ve grown into a trusted local team serving homeowners across Oregon and Washington, while still keeping that small-family feel. They’ve launched numerous products and continue to innovate.
